To frog, or not to frog??

I thought I was doing so well getting on with the new SAL; it was only when I got right to the end of the first part that I realised I had goofed in a big way ;(

Those little pink lozenges around the ABC should have a short * filler * one in the middle of each horizontal line. Mrs clevercloggs here didn't see that until I realised that I had a couple of spare stitches after the letter C, which was the last bit I stitched on this part.

Now the dilemma is, do I frog the whole lot [like I should, but will probably leave a dirty looking mark over a biggish piece of the fabric] or do I put it down to experience, and manipulate the rest of the design to fit?? I'm very tempted to take the latter option..............

I have been known on a number of occasions to 'manipulate' (great term) the design. However, if I think it's too hard to work out how to 'manipulate' it successfully, like it has lots of colour changes or design intricasies, or that I'll notice it every time "I" see it, I'll frog.

So in your case, I think you'll be able to 'manipulate' it quite successfully without the process driving crazy (and you don't want THAT) and without looking at it every time you see it and 'noticing' it.

My motto about frogging, if I can get away without doing it, I do!

I vuess it depends on wether or not you can live with the error long term. If your not going to be able to forget it's there then unpick it or you'll never be happy with the piece.

Pauline, I'm sure I'll be able to manipulate [great term, I think I'll adopt it!] without too much stress, since it's all little units....... just slide one across a little, or stretch another a couple of stitches.
I think maybe life's too short for me to worry about it for too long, Angela, it looks like my adaptation might be here to stay!
